The two pictures compare the main changes which have happened in the village of Ryemouth from 1995 until today. In general, it appears that Ryemouth has become a much more modern place, with far more entertaining facilities. One interesting change is that the housing has been expanded with a new road that has been opened. The north-west of the city used to be a farmland, which has been disappeared to make way for a golf. Another striking change is that the tennis has been built, whereas the forest park has been removed. The hotel has been widened with a new car park. One notable change is the old shop has been converted into a new restaurant. If we look at the seaside, there is the transformation of the fish market into apartments. The final obvious change is the demolition of the fishing port from the sea.
