The supplied illustration depicts how cherry jam is produced. As can be seen, there are nine main stages in the process. The process is started with collecting the fruits and is ended with labeling the jars. First, a sheet is spread on the ground under the tree and the tree is shaken. At the following stage, collected cherries are transported to the processing plant. After that, the stems and leaves are omitted. Next, they are washed. Stones of washed cherries are removed by a metal spike. Then sugar, lemon juice, and pectin are added to them. In the next step, the quality of the jam is tested and the jam is put into jars. Eventually, the jars are labeled and the jam is ready.
