The pictures illustrate the distinctive architectural and structural designs of three variation of bridges. Overall, there are many differences between the height and the use of piers of three bridges and each type can be suitable for specific locations like lakes, seas and rivers. The figure of the arch bridge and the concrete girder bridge has a maximum height of 100 meters and 300 meters, respectively so that small ships and middle sized ships can sail under it safely through the lakes and the rivers. The distance from the suspension bridge to the bottom of the sea is very deep to help to accommodate the operation of large sized ships. The arch bridge’s span usually doesn’t exceed 200 meters. However, the concrete girder bridge has its column positioned at a distance of 200 meters from each other and the suspension bridge has the longest span which is up to 2000 meters. The arch bridge is erected by the solid concrete block with no piers, while the concrete girder bridge has a changeable number of pillars being proportional to the length. Whereas, the suspension bridge is built with two big piers which rooted into the underwater cliffs near the sea pot.
