The maps below illustrate the changes that took place at Queen Mary Hospital in 1960, 1980 and expected development for 2023. Generally speaking, it can clearly be seen that Queen Mary Hospital underwent significant development during the period shown, with the addition of new buildings and some demolished buildings, and the hospital will modify some buildings in the future. In the year 2020, there were four buildings to the south of the main road. There was some agricultural land at the bottom left and in the north of farmland there was a shopping mall. In addition, there was a hospital to the east of the shopping center and in the south of the hospital there was a parking garage. One year later, some agricultural land was demolished to make way for a nursing school. Besides that, the shopping mall also was replaced with a cancer center and pharmacy. The hospital and the garage remained unchanged. In 2023. The cancer center is going to be expanded by removing the entire nursing school which was built in 2021. Instead, the garage will be reduced in half to make a new nursing school. Finally, the hospital is going to remain the same until 2023.
