Many individuals in the world now do not pay taxes, yet essential services are not free. Furthermore, citizens will always have free education and healthcare, as well as contribute to the country's rapid development. Their children don't worry about studying or getting sick. Tax money is used in a variety of ways. Along with funding government employees' wages, your tax money supports common resources such as police and firefighters, and contributes to the safety and maintenance of the roads you ride on.
To my mind, the benefits are greater since scholarship and medical care are necessary components of citizenship, regardless of how much we pay in taxes, if we get these critical components for free. Children in Vietnam are required to pay annual school fees. If parents don’t have enough money to send their children to school, they will be unable to attend. Similarly, in the healthcare field, some patients in tough financial situations are unable to pay hospital bills, preventing them from receiving treatment. My husband grew up in Canada which is a developed country. His parents not having to pay for his education demonstrates how beneficial free education is for those who cannot afford it.
In fact, I think the value outweighs the negatives since education and healthcare are critical components of our lives, and they are much more so when they are free.
