It is argued that people learn better in small teams as the trainers can focus on each student or trainee easily. It helps the teacher to plan the lecture for small groups and target their needs. When there are more learners in a larger large group the questions and queries put forward, make teacher overwhelmed with the number of questions. As a result, not a single query is answered properly. tThis affects the outcomes of the learning. In Pakistan, government schools have huge number of students in one classroom, one teacher has to handle a variety of attitudes and behaviour at a time. Most of the tutor’s energy goes on responding to various behaviour types, this affect knowledge delivery.
Furthermore, as students in big numbers have to sit closely, they tease and distract each other, and this takes away their attention from learning. Moreover, learners feel shy in front of bigger crowd and hesitate to ask questions. Whereas in a small team, they build positive relationships with each other. And, hence, feel confident in admitting there their weaknesses comfortably. Learning is more effective in smaller groups as members work in strong coordination. The supervisors, teachers, and instructors could also give close attention to the learners.
