Statement of purpose for masters in Ireland

Statement of purpose for masters in Ireland ew6NW
I have always been fascinated by computer science, as expertise in computers allows you to decipher complex and challenging problems for an extensive set of people regardless of their range of interests. While learning, I realized that I have the imagination and the consistency required to solve various multidimensional problems which fall under computing. Hence to refine my knowledge and skills in my area of interest, I pursued Diploma in Computer Engineering from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University and bachelor’s degree from Pillai HOC college of engineering and technology. While I was completing my graduation, I was introduced to the vast ocean of knowledge including Core Java, Database Systems, Data Structures, etc. This course provided me with vitalizing my academic background and gained profound insight into the world of practical knowledge. As a part of the final year curriculum, I developed a project called “Secure Data Access Control in Fog Computing” which made extensive use of cloud computing, SQL, ASP. NET and data mining. I also contributed to a Library management project, which made use of relational databases and programming languages, where I realized the true potential of data management. Along with my academic stint, I have always participated and won prizes in Extracurricular activities during my graduation like elocution, debate competitions and singing competitions. Along with that, I completed my internship for the role of “Engineer Trainee” in Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited, India, where I obtained comprehensive knowledge of various cutting-edge technologies like LTE, IMS and performed testing on different arenas while identifying, tracking, and raising issues with the Rational tool. After completing my graduation, I started working as a software engineer in Larsen and Tubro Infotech, India, where I worked in Banking and Finance Business Unit, which gained me, profound knowledge about the banking domain. My job role included analyzing and developing business logic, writing functional analysis cases, test scripts, and testing the application End to End. I have worked on various development tools like Eclipse, Github, Jenkins etc. and testing and tracking tools like Testrail, Jira, Postman, Jmeter, and Selenium. I also wrote automation test scripts using selenium webDriver in eclipse while using the Maven framework. I Single-handedly managed the testing side of the project and was recognized as a key resource in the project. I also received the 'Pat on The Back' award for contributing positively to the Project testing area for various CRs & defect fixes related testing within a short period by the Associate project director. My work experience for solid three years at Larson and Tubro Infotech has given me an excellent opportunity to apply my academic skills to resolve real-world problems and reinforced me with values like team morale, patience, and a positive attitude towards work. As a necessary thing for my professional growth, I always invested my time in learning about new technologies like PowerBI, AWS, Java etc. Now, after having acquired the set of skills, and 3 years of work experience I believe it’s the right time to pursue my master's study in the field of my interest. I have chosen University College Dublin, Ireland for perusing my master’s in Business Analytics specifically, due to various reasons. Firstly, it is Ireland’s largest university and with its great strength and diversity of disciplines, UCD embraces its role to contribute to the flourishing of Ireland; through the study and discussion of people, society, business, economy, culture, languages and the creative arts, as well as through research and innovation. A Master's degree from the University College Dublin will add charm to my career for long-term objectives but also will help me achieve many motives in the long run of my life. It will give me a tremendous morale boost in this long pursuit to achieve excellence.
