Since I was a kid, I used to watch sci-fi fantasy movies and read novels. Star wars series was my favorite one and I liked it because of not only the action, but also the technology advancement in those films. Learning about “force” which drives that technology was something I always wanted to do. I never thought that all these fantasies will come true in future but we advanced in computer science so much that we can even create pseudo world with pseudo us. I tried to learn each and everything I came across in this area. When we had subject of ‘Intelligent System’, that excited me like nothing else. It was subject with less credits but my interest in that area drove me to know more things about it. As I dived deeper in subject I came to know about how vast the subject has become even being relatively new concept. The course was more of theory than actual application to real world. But I tried to implement those concept I learned, in projects. Writing algorithm for prediction of emotion for Sentiment Analysis project and training it with real-life data was enriching for me as it was my first strong foothold in area of futuristic technology. Even failures in project taught me about many important lessons. And I believe working on such interesting project contributed in my career path. I finished my bachelors of engineering in Information technology from Mumbai University. Those 4 Years were the most memorable and arduous period of my life till now. The curriculum was designed to challenge and improve the best of me. Under excellent guidance, I enjoyed studying interesting subjects such as Big Data Analytics, Intelligent System, Software Engineering, Data Mining and Business Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, and Cloud Computing. I also worked on project named ‘Fine grained sentiment Analysis’ in last year of engineering. Throughout the process of project development I learned Python, Flask and JavaScript and other programming languages. The objective of project was to train Classification algorithm from data to predict emotions of users using social networking. Professors appreciated our project and we received high grades. Also, with outstanding academic performance and good project grades, I topped in college resulting into getting hired in Majesco even before passing out. At Majesco, I am working as Software Engineer for past 2. 4 years on Oracle Database and Core JAVA. Even being fresher, more challenging responsibilities were given as I fulfilled my prior commitments with quality. My interest of learning always increased throughout as seeking more knowledge kept me motivated with ultimately resulted in professional growth. I was always ready and excited to take on new challenges and gave my best shot which impressed my seniors. I am Certified Associate in Python Programming (PCAP-31-03) by Python Institute and also completed Certification of Python for Data Science Issued by IBM. It was earnestly invigorating venture which motivated me to peruse higher studies in this area. Our Paper for final year project has been published in IJLTET (International Journal of Latest Trends in Engineering and Technology) and was eligible for 2nd International Conference on Computer Networks and Inventive Communication Technologies [ICCNCT 2019 Springer Conference]. Apart from academics, I volunteered in arrangement of drawing competition by Bhartiya Manav Vikas Trust for Special kids with Down syndrome. I also achieved National rank 2 in General Knowledge Olympiad in India. Our team participated in Entrepreneurship summit held at IIT Bombay. Participation in such events has developed skills like leadership, team spirit, problem solving and compassion in me.
