Social Networking technology such as Fb provide a platform for people to connect socially and share ideas and day today happening of the life. most of the time service of social media is provided without charge ie. People does not have to pay for the services. Much like any technology it has advantages and disadvantages. As in the era of globalization it is very common for people to stay away from each other due to many reasons such as education job ect. Thus social media provide a sense of connect among people while they are away they can know what is happening in the life of friends, family and acquaintances and remain updated. While it is good in some aspect it has may drawbacks as well social media can be addictive as people end to spend more time on the social platforms and end up wasting their time and it can have adverse effect on health as people tend to spend more time digital devices.
