I completely agree that public speaking skills should be necessary at school. First, having great speech-making experiences would most likely lead people to career success because it increases their overall academic performance. For example, students with good oral presentations skills would carry out team projects and school plays excellently. Having exceptional public speaking skills could be a self-esteem booster as people won't stumble over their words and build up the confidence they need to present their opinion in debates. Furthermore, many people hold the view that having the skills to make a speech could help to expand the circle of friends. Public speaking is not only good for grades, but it also improves charisma and the way people communicate. To give an illustration, giving a public speech would require both verbal, non-verbal language and fluency. This leads to more ways of communication and more friends would be added to their contact.
