should children share housework with their parents

I strongly believe that children should help their parents with household/domestic tasks/chores for several reasons as follows. First and foremost, doing housework will help them practice independence become more independent. Cultivating independence from a young age will become a good habit and help them have better preparations when becoming adults. Secondly, helping their parents with various chores around the house teaches them invaluable lessons about being respectful of each and every job as well as the people who perform them. Doing chores will make them understand the effort and hard work. . Last but not least, when children do chores, they will make out that they are a part of a community, thereby preparing for their future when they integrate into society. To recapitulate, offspring can reap a plethora of benefits from sharing housework with parents. Therefore, it is advisable (that) children (should) be encouraged to engage in such practice/activity.
