Recently the educational system has gone through some major changes. In the 20th century, the professor’s word was the law for the learner, however, nowadays parents, youngsters; governmental methodists are constantly interrupting the studying process with social requirements. Clearly, it has a good and a bad side, but is it beneficial?
On the one hand, the evaluation of teachers is useful, because the academic disciplines adjust and become more adaptable to current students’ needs. Moreover, a careful overview of the yearly plan leads education to turn more alike, graduating students with equal backgrounds and opportunities. For instance, I study in Lyceum, where a google form was sent out to all classes asking every pupil to fill it in by ranking pedagogical experience on a scale from 1 to 5, answering questions connected with the homework and class scope. In the end, we were suggested to write our thanks or recommendations to the teacher, it was all anonymous.
On the other hand, the 20th-century academy has brought up many successful people. It was without any interaction or feedback. On the contrary to my example, some unprofessional people may react to critics poorly, resulting in conflicts with learners.
Education in any form is complex, but for it to be successful, it has to be flexible. In my opinion, bringing the new generation up should be on their terms, it should meet their needs and requirement, for the future world to flourish. Recent scientific research has shown that Gen Z has influenced the trends and the environment more than any other generation before. I see the statistics only increasing, consequently, we should allow students to make their judgments and be a part of the educational community. I propose that every student has a right to evaluate his/her studies in the appropriate manner. From my point of view, the evaluation should be polite, honest, and anonymous. In conclusion, I agree with the evaluation.
