In reality, the co-marriage law has aided homosexual individuals in accepting the work and respect of others around them. Moreover, the American Journal Of Public Health study that surveyed more than 36, 000 people aged 18-70 found lesbian, gay, and bisexual individuals were far less psychologically distressed if they were in a legally recognized same-sex marriage than if they were not. Therefore, the legally recognized same-sex marriage seems to be able to at least partially overcome the huge health differences between heterosexuals and lesbians, gays, and bisexuals. Another outstanding feature is that by establishing marriage equality in terms of sex, same-sex couples have equal access to significant benefits provided by US governments to married couples. In states lacking marriage equality in the past, same-sex couples couldn't file taxes together, inherit a partner's assets without paying an estate or gift tax, or make key medical choices for their partners. Furthermore, these couples are eligible for family health insurance rates in both the private individual market and the Obamacare exchanges. Low- to middle-income married couples, in particular, can qualify for federal tax credits to help pay their premiums through the exchanges. When a couple marries, the socioeconomic rights of pension benefits, hospital visits, child support, and affordable housing are freely provided and anticipated. When it comes to same-sex weddings or civil unions, these essential resources for a good marriage are frequently lacking. According to a study conducted by the Williams Institute (2012), a think tank specializing in LGBTQ issues, marriage equality may sustain or create thousands of employment and produce millions of dollars in income in states that do not already have marriage equality. As a result, this law provides major government benefits to LGBT couples, perhaps alleviating the sort of significant hardship that is considerably more likely to harm the development of sexual orientation. Although Catholic beliefs on homosexuality are hotly debated, data suggests that theological and moral grounds related to human rights are used to support same-sex marriage. Because the scriptures teach believers to respect liberty and respect human dignity, over a hundred “multi-faith leaders, ” including “rabbis, ministers, pastors, priests, and priestesses, ” stood on the steps of the San Francisco City Hall and “proclaimed their opposition to California’s Proposition 8. ”(Messne, 2010) In addition, Catholics differ in their support for same-sex marriage and acceptance of homosexuality in general, as seen by six-in-ten Catholics (61%) who said in a survey of Pew Research Center (2019) that they support letting homosexuals and lesbians marry in the United States. Thanks to the concurrence of laws and beliefs, homosexuals receive not only legal equality but also spiritual and religious ideologies. It is true that love is indeed noble and priceless, so it should not be stifled by something as insignificant as gender. Thanks to the legalization of same-sex marriage, the LGBT community in the United States has received protection from discrimination, equal welfare for all citizens, and spiritual recognition god in religion. Although there are still many problems in marriage such as maintaining race, ensuring long-term happiness and economic stability in the gay community, the United States Supreme Court has steadily affirmed its momentum. The Declaration of the Rights of Man and the citizen is eternal through Marriage Equality Law. As a result, legalizing same-sex marriage not only protects the LGBT population from the harshness of society but also represents a significant step forward in defending the absolute equality of Americans.
