It can be said that reading books is an essential skill for everyone in today’s life. I have read many different kinds of books, both fiction and nonfiction books. Nevertheless, the book that impressed me the most was British civilization: An introduction, which was written by John Oakland in 2016. British Civilization provides a comprehensive introduction to the many facets of Britain today, including country and people, politics and government, international relations education, economy, media, arts and religion. It includes: discussion of recent developments and topics of particular interest in current British society such as genetically modified foods, immigration, the UK's relationship with the US and EU, and New illustration of the War on Terror new illustrations. British Civilization is a vital introduction to the crucial and complex identities of Britain.
