Many people think that sending their children to study in another country is a good thing, while others disagree. Personally, I agree that studying overseas is beneficial, although there are some negative issues to consider. I will explain the reasons for my opinion in the following essay. There are several advantages to studying in a different country. One of the biggest benefits is that children can learn new things that they haven't known before such as cultures. Another advantage is they can improve their language skill because they are living in the country where the language is being spoken. As a result of this, when they turn back to their own country, they might have more opportunities for getting a job, which in turn could lead to a higher salary and better standard of living. Although there are various advantages of studying overseas, there are also some distinct drawbacks to consider. Most significantly, They might have to spend too much money for living because they have to pay for several things such as tuition fees, housing and utility bills. Consequently, The student might have financial stress and may affect their studying. This could result in them having to get a job to cover these expenses. Another disadvantage associated with studying in another country, they might be homesick because they lived far from their parents for a long time. If they would like to see their family, they will only see via video calling. In conclusion, there are both advantages and disadvantages of sending their children to study in a foreign country. If students study overseas they will have huge life experiences. Therefore, sending their children to study abroad has more benefits than drawbacks.
