It is commonly believed in many countries that self employment is better than working 9 to 5 for a company or an organisation. Personally speaking, I would say both arguments have validity, but I would lean towards the former. The following essay will outline the reasons of certain people's belief in self employment and disadvantages of being self employed. Firstly, it is important to bear in mind that self employment means starting or building your own company or business or a startup. Likewise, doing a job means working for a company or organisation.
