This song was composed by Adele with musician Tobias Jesso Jr. “When We Were Young” is not as successful as "Rolling in the Deep", "Hello", "Set the world on fire", or "Someone like you" but for someone, it's a masterpiece. Talking about the inspiration to write it, Adele shared that she thinks about people who have walked through her life, from the relative to the stranger, there will be times we don't have enough time to care for each other and gradually become strangers.
