According to the reading passage, the girl who is pictured in Cassandra’ painting is associated with Jane Austen that nobody knows who is look like. The lecturer, on the other hand, finds all the statements given in the article dubious by describing some reasons. To begin with, the article states that the girl who is in portrait is Austen. However, the professor rejects all the ideas presented in the reading passage and adds that the painter of portrait was dead seventy years before the Austen’ family claimed that painted girl in the portrait is Austen. Furthermore, the reading passage claims that all part of the painted girl such as nose, mouth and eyebrow are so similar to Austen’ face based on the sketch communicates’ statements. The listening passage, on contrary, disapproves of all the article statements by saying that the teenager in the painting cannot be Austen because there are other children in the Austen’ family that are much look like to pictured girl. Lastly, according to the article, although there is no evidence to determine the data of Cassandra’ painting, there is some clue that prove that Austen was teenager when the painting was designed. Nevertheless, the professor disagrees with the reading passage’ ideas by claiming that the painting was not sell by William Legs when Austen was teenager. However, his event was happened when Austen was an elderly person. Thus these statements show that the girl in the painting cannot be an illustration of Austen’ face.
