Instead of that in listening section professor mentions about there are not benefits of that animal that sacrifices his interest. Firstly, in reading passage writer gives the example of humans act like shearing food with strangers and, the donation of organs to the family members or a complete strangers such act of is called altruism. However in the lecture professor state about there is no any kind of benefit to the donor from society of the organs receiving family. Secondly, writer state in passage, many species of animals is willing to sacrifice their food for other members. The meerkat, an individual acts as a sentinel, meerkat sees a predator whose are danger for the group of meerkat. The meerkat who sees a predator he goes back without eating food, he get nothing bug still he is giving alarm to the other member of group. Instead of that in listening section, professor tells about sometime this meerkat lost their life for the other member of group. They don’t get anything. In conclusion, Altruism is the process of sacrificing own interest for other member of group of animals. Many animals are sacrifice their life for other but they couldn't get anything from them.
