In some nations, recycling of waste materials isn't being done to a considerable extent. The reason behind this problem might be, that, the people don't care enough, which can be resolved by the government taking certain measures against this. In this essay, the reasons for not enough recycling and measures that can be taken to deal with the issue will be discussed. In some countires, the majority of the people don't care enough about recycling. For instance, some folks would rather go to a movie than recycle thair waste items. sometimes, people might not have neither the time nor the energy that they can afford to put, into seggregating recyclable and non-recyclable items while disposing the waste materials from their households, and hence the papers and glass items which can be recycled is being thrown into trash along with plastic items and other things. Moreover, even if they have enough time to do this, they might think it is not worth it and might have thought, that, the time put into recycling waste materials could be used effectively by doing other actions. For example, people might prefer to work a few extra hours in hopes of getting a raise instead of worrying about recycling. This is a huge problem as the natural sources are getting depleted, to create new items. For example the number of trees are decreasng at an astonishing rate, and at some point in future they might be too scarce, which would then lead to the extinction of all living things on this planet. To combat this problem the government can conduct campaigns and put advertisements on television so as to bring awareness to this situation and the negative effects caused as a result of not recycling. For example, they can give the people an idea of how many trees are required to be cut down to make a single paper, this would in turn lead to the people being more careful about how they are disposing their waste materials. In conclusion, people are not aware of the consequences that they have to face and as a result, don't think about recycling. This issue can be dealt by bringing awareness, to the people, to the situation that they would face.
