The figures illustrates how to set up a water clock. Overall, there are 7 steps, consisting of a faucet, letter L-stand, 1 plastic bottle which tape on the letter L-stand with a hole on its side near its neck area as well the hole on the bottom, and the other plastic bottle has its neck cut off. First, put the L-stand under the faucet and cover the hole on the first plastic bootle with finger so the water would not drop from the bottle. Then, turn on the faucet until the water fill top bottle to overflow and come out from the straw. This straw would keep the water from overflowing amd help it to maintain at a constant level. After the water does not come out anymore from the straw, moved away your fingers and let the water drop into the second bottle which is put at the bottom of the stand. At this stage, the second plastic bottle can be marked with pens after one or two minutes of dripping at levels of water. When the second plastic bottle is full of water, it can be emptied and the whole process can be repeated as in the first step.
