Education has become a very important part of modern society. In the past, formal examinations were the only form that shows the position of students in their education. Over recent years, there has been a huge change in education, which is using some innovative methods such as projects and assignments. It is also argued by some people think that these new methods are ineffective. But I think the benefit is more than disadvantage. Formal examinations are the traditional way in school to assess student’s performance. Through this exam, people can calculate student’s intelligence through a written test. People can find out a student interest and weak point, it may increase competition to get high marks in all subjects.
