It’s about equality, ” said the famous actress Emma Watson in 2014 during an interview. Feminism isn’t something that came out of nowhere. It took years to develop and reach where it is today. According to the Oxford dictionary, feminism is defined as the belief and the aim that women should have the same rights and opportunities as men. Over the years, women have become aware of their rights. This essay/report will discuss the development of feminism over the past few centuries.
