Reading newspaper every morning is a cultural norm here in India. And it is one of the best habits an individual can cater. But several people pine that there is no need of printed paper now. This essay discusses about this further. We live in the internet age where information is available on your fingertips. So the relevance of newspaper is decreasing. There are many websites and apps which delivers real time news and the the most presentable manner. People nowadays are more inclined to these apps as news here are crisp and one doesn’t necessarily need to take time off reading it. These apps use artificial intelligence to figure out which topics you are interested in and shows you relevant news and articles as per your interest, which is a cherry on cake. Printed newspaper are a big problem of environment. One need to cut down trees to make paper pulp on which newspaper is printed. And this leads to deforestation which is an alarming problem for the environment. To summarize, I know that reading a printed newspaper with tea in the morning is a different feel altogether but there are many positives to look upon if we don’t use them.
