Next, the pods are harvested and split to collect the white cacao beans by a special equipment. Then the beans are fermented among a number of layers from banana leaves before being spread on a mat which is placed under the sun they dry before being weighted in a plenty of large sacks and transported to the factory by train or lorry where they rosted in an oven at a high temperature of around 350 degrees Celsius. Subsequently, the beans are crushed into tiny pieces while the shell are removed by crusher. Finally, the inner parts are pressed to liquid chocolate.
