Demonstrates the period of nitrogen

Demonstrates the period of nitrogen G9K3e
The picture demonstrates the period of nitrogen gas. It can be observed that this rhythm contains 4 stages, begins with nitrogen fixation, and ends with N2 gas being released in the atmosphere. First of all, N2 falls into the soil by precipitation such as rain, then this gas finds its way on the roots of plants. In roots, N2 combines with H2 to produce NH3 – a toxic gas by nitrogen-fixing bacteria. Subsequently, with the help of lighting, NH3 combines with O2 to manufacture NO2-. In the next stage, NO2- is converted to NO3- by nitrifying bacteria, this stage is known as nitrification. After that, NO3- has two ways to flow. This ion can assimilate in the roots of plants or it can get through denitrification bacteria in order to release N2 in the air, this stage is called denitrification. This cycle repeats when animals get rid of the waste after eating grass, and waste goes through the soil to make NH4+, then NH4+ is converted to NO2-, then NO2- is converted to NO3-, and releases N2.
