The bar chart shows the literacy rate of people who can read and write by region and gender in 2011. It is clear that, it was readily apparent that towards the end, the column about the percentage of female can read and write were relatively smaller than the male. It was worth noting that the ratios of female can read and write almost not as high as male. According to statistics Central/Eastern Europe was the place where the ratio male and female can read and write even with approximately nearly 100%. Central Asia was the only place have the rate of this problem female is just above than male. Apparently in Latin America/Caribbean, Arab states, South and West Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa compared to male, female always can’t read and write is more quantity. Especially it appeared that in South and West Asia, the rate difference between male and female was quite high about 20%. In short almost a greater percentage of female can read and write were not higher than male.
