The graph provides information about the usage of water worldwide from the year 1900 to 2000. The table describes information about water consumption in Brazil and the Democratic Republic of Congo in 2000. In the year 1900, the water used in agriculture is about 500km3 however it continued to increase dramatically to about 3000km3 by 2000. Industrial and domestic use of water is similar in 1900 at about 100. But after 1950, the use of water increased gradually. Industrial water use reached about 1200km3 and for the domestic water use reach to about 500km3 by 2000. Brazil had a population of 176 million and water consumption per person is 359m3. And the other country had a population of 5. 2 million and 8m3 per person. Brazil had 26500km2 while Congo only had about 100km2. We can see from the above that agriculture is the sector that used the most water. Industrial used the second and the least used is domestic.
