Now-a-days we usually come across delays in transportation and journeys taking long time. Both are widespread phenomenon in majority of the cities. There are several factors and remedies to this causes which we look into. People these days are giving first priority to comforts, as a result they prefer to own a vehicle. Furthermore, motor vehicle companies encouraging buyers with acceptable services and improvised technology. In addition to this, there are no direct connections between some places in a city which results in transport delays. On the other hand, transport delays and long journey times can be reduced in cities to an extent when these measures are taken. Firstly travelers should concern about traffic congestion and start using public transport in place of private vehicles. Vehicle manufacturers should implement technology which involves maps showing relatively less traffic. For an instance, Tesla cars are being made in such a way to tackle with current traffic congestion. Goods transportation is the one the biggest among all others so, these essentials are transported at nights. Roadway department must build bypass road to all the cities. Overall, Transport delays and long journey times is a major issue in large number of cities. People comforts, good vehicle manufacturers services, and no direct roads in cities are the major causes for above mentioned problems. However this can be tackled by introducing technology which helps in users showing routes which has less traffic
