This line graph illustrates the amount of fish and three kinds of meat consumed per person per week in a European country in a period between 1979 and 2004. Beef was the most consumed kind in 1979 at about 215 grams while chicken and lamb consumptions were close to each other at 140 and 150 grams respectively. However, the amount of beef showed a sharp decline before it increased significantly to 230 grams in 1984, then the consumption of beef was fluctuated with gradual decreasing until it reached 100 grams in 2004. The same figure could be seen in the lamb consuming amounts, which went up and down while dropping to almost 70 grams at the end of that period. According to chicken, its consumption increased dramatically reaching a peak of around 250 grams in 2004. On the other hand, fish was eaten in the lowest amounts in that period as it was approximately 60 grams in 1979. After that, it decreased slightly to just below 50 grams in 2004. Overall, in 1979, beef was the most popular kind, whereas, chicken became consumed in the highest amounts in 2004. Meanwhile, fish consuming demonstrated a stable pattern in that years.
