The two maps below show modification to Felixstone in 1967 and in 2010.

The two maps illustrate the changes that took place in Felixstone between 1967 and 2001. In general, many changes happened during that period, including new apartments, sports areas and wind turbines. In 1967, Felixstone was a small town with only a few buildings. Near the sea-bank in the south there was a fish market with a marina and a pier to the west of it. In further north, there was a hotel with a café next to it and beyond that there were dunes and some trees. There was high street that ran north rows of shops on both sides. To the west of the high street, there was a golf course, and to the east a farmland. The biggest change that took place between 1967 and 2001 was that a hotel with a swimming pool and a couple of tennis courts was built in the area of farmland. The shops in the east of high street were replaced by apartments. But, the shops to the west and the golf course remained unchanged. Near the sea, the pier, the marina and fish market were removed, and now the area is just beaches for private and public use. The café remained the same but a big car park was built near the hotel. Another noticeable change that several wind turbines were installed in the western side of the seashore. The dune and tree remained the same.
