THE TWO MAPS BELOW SHOW AN ISLAND BEFORE AND AFTER THE CONSTRUCTION OF SOME TOURIST FACILITIES wKK5N

The two pictures illustrate the changes of the island when the advent of tourist facilities. Overall, the first map was just a piece of land with few trees surrounded by the ocean. Looking at the second map, there were various entertainment places and accommodations constructed for tourism and the development of infrastructure. The pier was built to help tourists access the island safely and could enjoy fishing. In addition, people constructed vehicle tracks to connect the restaurant, the reception, and the pier. Moreover, footpaths were built to link houses with the beach to help passengers travel conveniently. At the center of the island, vacant land was converted into nine accommodations which were arranged in a circle. On the left side of the accommodations, the reception room was set up between the restaurant and the pier. On the west of the island, the beach remained unchanged and was used for swimming. Although the development of tourism changed a lot of lands, the eastern area of the island was still untouched.
