To begin with the international students, the general trend in a ten years period is increasing dramatically. The total number of overseas students is about 20000 in 2001 and it accelerates to over 80000 in 2010. Additionally, the number of commencing students increased sharply from about 15000 in 2001 to about 400000 in 2010. Turning to the local students, it expanded distinctly from 400000 in 2001 to about 600000 in 2007 and remaining at the same rate as 2007 until 2010. In the view of commencing students, remain stable during a decade. Overall, the number of international students are dramatically increased during a ten years period.
