The three pie charts illustrate the annual spending and how it changed between the three years 1981, 1991 and 2001 in a particular school in UK. As it can be seen on the pie charts, teachers’ salaries had the biggest portion throughout the whole period, remaining fairly constant, while the workers’ pay saw a fall. The biggest increase however had insurance.
Starting in 1981, teachers’ pay had the biggest fraction with two fifths then it rose to a half in 1991 and fell slightly to less then a half. Workers’ salary started with over a quarter in 1981 and the second biggest portion but saw a constant decrease and ended in 2001 with only a tiny minority of the allocated budget. On the other hand, the furniture and equipment’s cost started with a less than a fifth and overtook workers’ pay at the end with less than a quarter and second biggest group, despite the fall in 1991 where it made up only 5%.
The expenditure on resources such as books saw a fluctuation throughout the period. At the start the resources for objects like books made up only 15% of the whole. While they saw an increase in 1991 up to a fifth, in the end they had less than a tenth fracture. Even if it remained with the smallest segment, the insurance fraction saw the biggest increase as it multiplied four times during the whole period. From 2% in 1981 it increased up to 8% in 2001.
