The three pie charts below show the total school spending in the UK in three periods. 6lOP8
The given pie graphs illustrate the sum of school expenditures in Great Britain in three different periods: 1981, 1991 and 2001. In general, the teacher’ salaries made up the biggest percentage while the insurance was the minority in three periods. In spite of the fluctuation of these fields through many years, the insurance and teachers’ salaries still kept this trend. It can be seen that the teachers’ salaries contributed the largest proportion in three years, which started at 40% in 1981, increased steadily to a half and ended at the point of 45% in 2001. Whereas, the insurance had a tiny rate in the graph, in 1981, it took the responsibility of 2% then rose to 3% and finished at 8% in 2001. The budget on other workers’ salaries, furniture & equipment and resources e. g. books witnessed an irregular tendency through 20 years. At first, they started at 28% and the same 5% respectively. However, in 2001, this proportion changed to 15%, 23% and 9% accordingly.
