The table demonstrates the number of foreign visits to the UK by several countries and their way of transportation in two years. Overall, it is shown on the table that people mostly used to travel by air and tunnel transportations except Belgium and France. Totally, the proportion of usage air mode is 6 times higher rather than tunnel in 2011 and 2013. Moreover, Bulgaria had the lowest data in using both modes of travel, however air mode was quite popular than tunnel in average for 7 times. The proportion of usage air mode of travel in countries such as Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Sweden were much higher than results of usage of tunnels in 2011 and 2013. Data of air and tunnel transportation has changed in the period from 2011 to 2013. Results of the table shows that proportion of usage air mode in all countries except Portugal had slightly increase. Data in Portugal gradually decreased from 260 to 251. Additionally, the results of the tunnel were quite similar. In countries like Belgium, France and Portugal had a steady growth, while Bulgaria and Germany’s data in 2011 was twice as much is in 2013. Data in Italy probably remained the same, whereas, the results in Sweden decreased and in 2011 usage of tunnels was 6 times higher than in 2013. To conclude, both modes have been changed during two years and air mode became more popular for overseas visits to the UK in 2011-2013.
