The table shows information about independent films in UK

The table compares the number of independent films released and percentages of incom from ticket sales in UK and Republic of Ireland in 2012. Overall, it clear that drama and documentary films were release the highest number of independent films. However, the highest percentages of incom from ticket sales, which were comedy and Horror gener movies respectively in UK. In terms of drama and documentary genre movies were the highest number of releases at 35 each and percentages of release was 23. 6% each successively. However, the number of flims releases and percentages of releases were comedy, horror and thriller gener films at 26, 14 and 13 films and 17%, 9% and 8% was the second highest respectively. On the other hand, biopic, crime action romance and other gener movies were the least number of releases and also their proportion of releases was the least. On the other hand, the most successful and highest earning films were comedy, horror and drama, they income from ticket sales at 45%, 20% and 8% respectively. The most interesting thing is that, biopic gener films was release just 1 movie and dramatically it was income the highest amount of money from ticket sales at 9%. However, the least earning movies were romance and thriller, which income at 0. 8% and 1. 3% respectively.
