The table depicts the amount paid by an Australian family in six different sectors in two years 1991 and 2001. The information is given in Australian dollars. Overall, it can be clearly seen that the total amount spend by family increased in next year. The highest amount was for other goods and services paid by citizens in Australia. To begin with, in the year 1991 an Australian family had spent 155 Australian dollars per month which increased by dollars 5 in 2001. However, the amount spend on electricity and water was 75 dollars in 19991 which increased to 120 dollars in 2001. The difference of expenditure for clothing was only 10 % in two years 1991 and 2001. Furthermore, the expenditure paid for housing was 95 and 100 dollars respectively in two given years. Though the amount paid in all sectors had increased in 2001 but in case of housing it reduced by around 25 dollars. Whereas, for other goods and services an Australian family had spent 250 in 1991 which increased by 20% in 2001 respectively.
