The table demonstrates the number of technology research workers per million people in five different countries, during the period from 2003 to 2007. The most noticeable trends are steady increase and decrease in numbers of researchers in Turkey and Poland. In 4 years shown, the number of Turkey’s research workers rose progressively for by 59. On the other hand, Poland had the most workers in 2003 compared to other countries, 285. After that, it witnessed a gradual fall to 226 by the end of the period shown, which was the highest ending point. In Mexico and Togo, there was an increase in number of technological researchers that lasted until 2005. In the next year it dropped, but by 2007, the numbers slightly rose again. Similar trend was visible in Moldova, where, in contrast, numbers went down first, but in 2006 they started to climb, ending at 114 in the final year. In conclusion, during the four year period shown, Poland had the highest number of researchers, while Togo had the lowest. Situation got better in Turkey and Moldova during the years, as they ended with more workers than they had at the start.
