The table given compares how many hours per year people of different age groups in Everland spent on each pastime. Overall, TV and video viewing is the most time-consuming leisure activity among people in Everland. In addition, team exercise/ sport and communicating in group of 4 and more lost their appeal to people with age. Teenagers in Everland spent as many as 1200 hours watching TV and videos, which was 100 hours more than people aged 70 and above (1100), and 500 hours more than 20s and 60 age group (700) while about 500 hours went to it as far as the rest goes. Similar pattern can be seen in the “cinema” category, but with a less amount of time in all age groups. In specific, people in teens allotted the most time, at 100 hours, followed by 20-29 and 70 and above year olds, with 100 hours of watching movies at cinema. Regarding collaborative physical activities and social networking with more than 4 people involved, the time occupied is in inverse proportion to the age, with 350 hours and 450 hours being spent by people in teens in socializing with 4 and more people and participating group exercise respectively compared to merely 25 hours and 0 hours of the eldest. By comparison, more solitary pastimes such as socialization with 4 or less people and solo workout took up more time of the middle-aged people (30-59 year olds) compared to the remaining age groups, at about 300 hours and 200 hours in that order.
