In the span of 5 decades, possesion of television remain nearly 40% with the fluctuation of 6-10%; whereas stereo system was consumed maximum in 1980 by 75% households which was also the highest usage of any electronic equipment but by the end of 2010 its popularity dramatically plunged by 57%. The usage of microwave was mere 7% and interestingly it surged at a rate of 1% per decade tell 1990 but then suddenly got doubled and then jumped five times.
