The table compares men and women who have various jobs in terms of their average income per week in 2015. Overall, male workers tended to get paid more than their female counterparts in all occupations examined. It is also noticeable from the table that the most well-paid career was professionals, and manual workers were paid the least for both genders. The amount of money earned by men who work as professionals is $2000, which was slightly higher than that of feminine employees ($1900). Similarly, the figure for male managerial/ office workers was $1350, while it was only $1000 for the other gender for the same job. In contrast to weekly salary earned by male technicians, this figure for their feminine coworkers was lower by $500. Similarities can be witnessed in the amount of money given to service workers and manual laborers, with respective figures being $1300 for men, $950 for women and $1100 for male laborers, $850 for their female counterparts.
