The table presents the sales figures of books, novels, and magazines in one local book shop in the UK January 2010. The figures are divided into two groups which are sale to non-members, and members. According to the data of the non-members, comprising the sales of students, adult and seniors, the local book shop sold the books, novel, and magazines to student, 44, 31, and 330, respectively. In the other hand, adults bought 30 books, 194 novels, 12250 magazines. Showing that more magazines were sold to adult than any other types of customers. The seniors purchased 124 novels, and 80 magazines although no book was sold to them. Book shop members bought more book and novel than non-members, accounting for 70 and 942, respectively. In the contrary, 39 magazines were sold to members, being less than any other groups of buyer. In conclusion, the total amount of publications sold in January 2010 were 3134. Of this figures, 144 were books, and 1291 were novels. So that, the magazines accounted for the greatest number of sales at 1699.
