The provided table depicts the comparison of Scottish adults participating in six different cultural activities one year ago. Generally, it can be said that participating in performances such as dancing, singing, acting and playing instruments makes up the largest percentage compared to other activities. It is apparent that computer based activities accounts for the least participants. One of the most significant features in the data set is that one third of the Scottish adults between 16 and 24 take part in the art related performances while only 17% of the aged 45 and above joined the performances. There is a significant difference in terms of undertaking any craft between older (aged 45-74) and younger (aged 16-24) generations with 22% and 11% respectively. Regarding cultural purchases, the elders aged 45-74 spent the most with 18% of the population followed by aged 25-44 with 17%.
