Overall, food / drinks /tobacco accounted for the largest consumer spending in the five countries, while the smallest consumer spending was on leisure /education. Looking at the chart in more details, we can see there was 32. 14% of consumer spending on food / drinks /tobacco in Turkey. This figure was the largest among all countries. Ireland had 28. 91% of consumer spending on this category. The other three countries had no more than 20% of consumer spending on this item. As for the second item, clothing /footwear accounted for no more than 10% of the total consumer spending in five countries, varying low of 5. 40%in Sweden to a high of 9. 00% in Italy. In item of the last category, the spending on leisure /education made up no more than 5% of consumer spending in each country. the smallest proportion of consumer spending on leisure /education in Spain, with the figure of 1. 98%.
