The pie chart shows the percentage of water used for industrial, agricultural, domestic uses in six areas of the world- North and South America, Europe, Africa, Central and South Asia. Overall, Domestic use is lowest throughout all area. In Africa, South America, Central Asia, and South East Asia, there is a similarlity in their water consumption purposes. Dominantly, more than 70% of their water used in agriculture. On the other hand, North America and Europe, their figures look similar to one another. Around 50 percentage of their water consumption is industrial use. Over 30-40 percentage of water used in agriculture. A closer examination of the figures for the domestic use which is the lowest in water consumption of six areas, it is clear that the consumption percentage in domestic purpose in America and Europe is as twice as Asia and Africa. Through this charts, it indicate that majority of the areas rely on agricultural industry and water is essential to it.
