The supplied bar chart illustrates data on the number of cell phones and land phone users per 100 people in seven different countries.

It is clear that the number of landlines users in Canada, US and Denmark are higher than the the number of cell phones users in these countries. On the contrary, the opposite situation can be seen in the Germany, UK, Sweden and Italy. Looking at the data in more detail, in Canada, the number of users using mobile phones are around 38 per 100 people, but that for landlines users are considerably higher to 62. Similarly, people use the cell phones in America are 48 per people while the figure for landlines users are about 20 higher at 68. However, the usage of landlines in Denmark are 88 per 100 people, only around 6 higher than that for the mobile phones users. As for the Germany and Italy, the figure for cell phones users in these two countries are 70 and 90 per 100 people respectively. The former’s landlines usage are exactly 10 lower than its cell phones usage. Likewise, the latter’s mobile users are two times as much as its landlines users. In the UK and Sweden, the cell phones are very popular in these two countries, over 80 per 100 people. The gap of in terms of mobile phones users and landlines users are 27 and 20 respective in these two places.
