As I used to have a period of time focusing on learning writing, I understand that it is really difficult to write confidently in English and most learners find it quite confused because they do not know how to improve it effectively. From my point of view, I support the view and my reasons will be explained in the following paragraph. According to my practical experience, the reason that making learners can not write confidently in English because they do not know the way how to write and they have the mentality of being afraid of writing wrong. I used to learn a subject called Writing 2 and my teacher taught me how to write a good paragraph. To be honest, my grammar was really bad and I always find confused when I have a writing lesson. However, I decided to begin with simple sentence structures and follow the stages of the writing process that my teacher had taught me. As a result, my writing skill has improved clearly and I got 4. 5/6 in the final test. The first step in the writing process is brainstorming. It means I will read the topic carefully and use a mind map to list two or three main ideas. The next step is that I have to write down some supporting points for each main idea and organize it reasonably. Then, I will write a draft to have an overview and edit the draft with cohesion and linking ideas. And the last step is writing the final copy. By using the stages of the writing process, I could improve my writing skill effectively. Besides, I also used the platform named Grammarly as a partner to correct my writings and I could realize my mistakes. Although my writing skills still need a lot of improvement, at least now I can write confidently and I know what I should write with a random topic. In conclusion, I encourage people try to follow the stages of the writing process and have an editor to improve their writing skill. And I believe that the only way can help us write confidently in English is to practice and follow these ways mentioned above.
