Overall, during these 5 years, English learners tended to attend classes in the evening as the first choice for their linguistic goal, even though the number of students had been decreasing over the years. In contrast, only a few people decided to spend their qualified time to go abroad and study a new language there.
From 2010 to 2015, English courses at night had been dominating the way how people in country C studied English with a ratio of 94% in 2010, after which it decreased slightly at 82%. in 2015. With regards to country B, in 2010, the percentage of students joining to evening classes accounted for 72%, but then went down significantly at 48% in 2015. Differently, country A remained stable as approximately seven in ten learners still want to work in classrooms in 5-year period.
However, studying abroad was considered as a new method as only around one quarter of people in country A proceeded with this. In country B, it only made up for 20% of the total amount and in country C, it was only until 2015 that this new way of learning English appeared.
