At first glance, it is clear that listening to music is an equally popular choice across both these genders. For the boys, playing computer games is preferred by a significant bulk of the population, followed closely by basketball. Soccer and skateboarding are respectively the next favorites. Reading is the least chosen option amongst all the given activities as it is participated by a measly 2% of the male subjects. In stark contrast, reading is the second most popular leisure activity amongst the girls, ranking second only to dancing. Computer games and netball see a near identical following, while gymnastics has the lowest participation of only 11%. From the pie chart, we can ascertain that while the boys tend to prefer computer games and sports, the girls show a higher affinity towards reading and dancing.
